Description

THE BEATLES:  ABBEY ROAD FIRST PRESS

I grade this as fair as it is used and has a surface scratches on side 1 - see photo and some background noise

In play it is discernible but for me would not spoil it for a listener who simply enjoys this great first press version


  • Matrix / Runout (Label Side A): YEX.749
  • Matrix / Runout (Label Side B): YEX.750
This version is the "first label, revised cover" version:
Dark green labels with a whole apple on the A-side label and a half, sliced-open apple on B-side. The labels have the "(An E.M.I. Recording)" text on two lines and small "33 1/3" text moved to the left side. Publishing year printed with a small ? symbol. The B-side label does not have "Her Majesty" credits. The labels are quite dark, although the actual shade of green varies between copies.
Low start price to represent its described condition. I currently am clearing some older duplicates from my collection
