Description
THE BEATLES - ABBEY ROAD - GREEN VINYL - BRITAIN / UK - STEREO!
Has been kept inside a re-sealable Discwasher VRP (Valuable Record Protector) Sleeve since I bought it... Probably played once or twice at most - just for the novelty of it (I was 14 or 15 at the time!). I already had several regular copies of Abbey Road albums for daily use, but I guess I just had to open this one and try it out...
History: Abbey Road, Apple, PCS 7088, 1978, stereo only. Very limited edition. U.K. pressing. Dark green vinyl. Full laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. sleeve. Textur light green apple label with “Mfd. in U.K.” text. With “Her Majesty” credit. The trail off areas have the hand etched matrix number YEX 749-PCS 7088 SIDE 1 on the side 1 and matrix number YEX 750-PCS 7088 SIDE 2 and and initials “HTM” on the side 2.
Bought in Colorado Springs in 1978 at Sound Warehouse (my favorite record shop back then). Has been in my own personal collection since the 70's - I never bought any more Beatle stuff after 1980... it was just no fun without John. So, I have personally had this album for more than 30 years.
High-Res images available upon request. See my other auctions for more still sealed and colored vinyl Beatles albums... plus LOTS of Beatle Pins and buttons!!
