ITEM DESCRIPTION:

In searching Discogs, this record seems to be a combination of MFSL 1-023 "variant 9" for Side B and "varient 10" for Side A. See the runout matrix photos. I don't know if this is a rare combo variant, or I just couldn't find it in Discogs. One weird thing (to me) is that the "6" is hand-etched over the "B6" stamped matrix number on Side B.  Early Beatles MFSL LPs are getting harder to find-- especially in this nice condition. 

I remember clearly that the vinyl was quiet compared to regular records at that time. MFSL discs were manufactured in Japan to extremely high-quality standards and remastered in analog at 1/2-speed. I bought this record brand new in 1980 at a local stereo store, and I only played it a few times on my high-end turntable/cartridge, specifically for recording it to tape. For this listing's photographs, I did not clean the LP or wipe off static dust.  Since I have no way of playing the album, I cannot make any statements concerning its current sound quality.  The labels are also clean with little evidence of use. Visually I saw no scratches, scuffs, or warpage of the vinyl. One of the Side B run-out wax close-up photos shows what looks like a cleaning streak reflection, but I cannot see it with the naked eye. The vinyl looks very nice and shiny. By the looks of the vinyl, I would expect the record to sound excellent, but obviously I can't guarantee it.* The buyer may want to consult a record expert/collector familiar with how records age when stored in their original packaging (same as still-sealed copies), if that is a concern. 

The record jacket is made of glossy stock. The cover has remained inside its original outer plastic bag, so it shows minimal wear. This listing's photos show many views of areas that typically show record jacket wear. The record jacket was kept inside its original outer bag open at the top, so the edges show very little wear. There are a few slight cover-slick paper bubbles on the front (see photo) that are almost invisible in normal lighting. The front top-left corner of the MFSL yellow band shows very slight fading. The LP includes an MFSL white cardboard folded sleeve outside of the original anti-static inner sleeve and an original MFSL comment mailing sheet. The outer bag still has its original stickers present.  There is no price tag sticker, because in 1980, MFSL LPs were purchased at the stereo equipment store and not a record store. The LP contains no other inserts.

PACKING:

The record is placed in brand-new MoFi Original Master anti-static sleeve-- separate from the original record sleeve and separate from the album cover jacket. The contents, with new outer sleeves are placed with bubble wrap inside an album shipping box, which is then sealed inside a plastic bag. This interior record shipping box is then double-boxed in a larger outer box with packing peanuts. The outher box is reinforced with fiberglass and brown shipping tape. Note: To protect the contents, please be careful when removing from the packaging.

Ships to US Customers only (48 contiguous states only & no PO Boxes) via UPS Ground or UPS Expedited services, which are the most reliable services from my location.  No other shipping options, locations, or changes are offered (see important "IMPORTANT CHANGES/PACKING/SHIPPING NOTE" note below). This item is already packed for shipment via UPS in accordance with this listing, so combined shipping isn't offered. The buyer is responsible to pay the eBay-calculated shipping charge shown at purchase for the chosen service.
