My listening equipment is a highly revealing Yamaha PF-800 turntable (equal to a 1990s LP12 – I am not familiar with the modern ones that cost more than a small car), pre/power amps and B&W Matrix Reference speakers. Before listing I always clean LPs on a vacuum record cleaning machine and I always determine audio quality by playing the LP not just by visual inspection. For this LP I have used an Ortofon OM10 MM cartridge.
Played on my system, this LP grades VG+ with some minor background noise between tracks and to occasional quiet parts. On side one there are some soft ticks to the second track and a few medium clicks to track four mainly submerged in the mix. Side two has some minor background noise to the run-in and the first few seconds of track 1, plus a couple of soft ticks later to the same track. There are some medium clicks to the intro of track 2 and some soft ticks just before “Her Majesty”. The song title “Her Majesty” is missing from both the sleeve and the label.
The fully laminated cover has the misaligned Apple logo and is in VG+ condition. Plain white Apple branded inner sleeve.
Matrices are YEX 749-2 4 1.1LP (I think, or maybe what looks like a 1 is actually an I) & YEX 750-1 1 AOH.
Will be well packaged for safe transit.
