THE BEATLES - ABBEY ROAD (MISALLIGNED APPLE,NO HER MAJESTY ON LABEL)
THE BEATLES - ABBEY ROAD
STEREO PCS 7009
YEX 749 - 2
YEX 750 - 1
THIS IS A RARE FIRST PRESSING IN SUPERB CONDITION WITH THE MIS-ALLIGNED APPLE SLEEVE.IT ALSO HAS A STUNNING NEAR MINT VINYL THAT IS WITHOUT THE "HER MAJESTY" TEXT ON THE SIDE 2 LABEL.
THE SLEEVE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH A LOVELY SHINE TO THE LAMINATE ON THE FRONT AND REAR.THERE IS SOME SLIGHT CREASING TO SOME OF THE EDGES BUT THESE CAN ONLY REALLY BE SEEN WHEN ANGLED TOWARDS LIGHT.THIS IS ALSO THE MORE RARE SKINNY SPINE VERSION WITH NO DAMAGE TO THE TEXT.
THE VINYL HAS A BEAUTIFUL SHEEN WITH JET BLACK MIRROR LIKE SURFACES ON BOTH SIDES.IT IS SPOTLESS,SUPERB NEAR MINT AND THE PLAYBACK IS ALSO TOP QUALITY.CRACKLE FREE AND CRYSTAL CLEAR WHICH IS VERY RARE FOR THE LATER BEATLES RELEASES.
THE SIDE 1 LABEL HAS SOME SMALL INITIALS ON WHICH IS THE ONLY FLAW TO WHAT IS A STUNNING VINYL.SIDE 2 HAS SOME SLIGHT WEAR AROUND THE HOLE AND OF COURSE HAS NO HER MAJESTY TEXT.
THE VINYL IS HOUSED IN A PLAIN WHITE "PATENTS APPLIED FOR" INNER SLEEVE WHICH IS ALSO IN GREAT SHAPE.
A SUPERB COPY WITH BOTH THE MIS-ALLIGNED APPLE AND MISSING THE HER MAJESTY TEXT.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL BIDDERS
Grading:
MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks no deterioration in sound, all paperwork should be in perfect condition
Excellent: The Record shows some signs of being played, there is very little lessening of sound quality. The packaging may have very slight signs of wear and /or creasing.
Very Good: The Record has been played a number of times, but there is no major deterioration in sound quality, despite slight surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Good; The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps some mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits and discoloration.
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise. It may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
I add a plus or minus when the item is somewhere between two grades
