Eine der frühesten Ausgaben von Abbey Road, definitiv aus dem Jahr 1969, aber exakt welche Version leiten Beatles-Sammler und Forscher am besten von den subtil unterschiedlichen Label-Aufdrucken ab (siehe Fotos). Hier ist auf der 2.Seite das "verborgene"-Stück "Her Majesty" samt Hinweis darauf auf dem Label vorhanden. Nicht jedoch ist "Her Majesty" auf dem Cover gelistet. Auf einem der Zebrastreifen auf dem Frontcover ist ein Rand von einem Gulli zu erkennen als Besonderheit des Bildausschnitts dieser Ausgabe. Auf der LP sind Haarlinien und Wischer zu sehen, optisch eher vg, der Höreindruck tendiert allerdings zu vg+ / voller sattter Sound mit geringen Hintergrundgeräuschen als Gesamteindruck. Nur am Ende von "Here comes the Sun" in den Übergang von "Because" hinein hört man ein repetitves leises Knacken, das von einem feiner Kratzer kommen könnte. Auf "Her Majesty", dem Auslaufstück, gibt es ein wiederkehrendes. leichtes Zischgeräusch - das liegt wahrscheinlich an der Pressung selbst. Das Cover ist in schönem VG+ Zustand, alles solide, fast überhaupt kein Abrieb an den Kanten, nur ein leichter Hauch von Ringwear und entlang der Ränder ganz kleine Falten im Laminat. Insgesamt ein schönes englisches Orignal aus dem Abbey Road-Erscheinungsjahr 1969!

One of the earliest versions of abbey Road manufactured in the UK. Beatles-Collectors and Scientists may check the Labels for subtle alterations of text on the early versions. The "hidden Track" Her Majesty is included hear on the vinyl and the Label but not on the cover. There is a part of a drain visible on the crossing which is specific for this early version of Abbey Road. The record itself may visually grade vg with wipes of hairlines and some thin scuffs. The playgrading tends towards vg+ plus for my personal taste. Full bodied beautiful sound with some mild and moderate background crackling. Only at the end of "Here comes the Sun" into "Because" there is some repetitive thin click which seem to result from a thin, probably deeper scuff. There also is a repetitve hiss on the final "Her Majesty" as well which might be due to the pressing itself. The cover grades as a strong vg+ with only a faint hint of ringwear and some mild and short laminate creases along the seams. Just a bit of wear along the opening but really strong and well protected seams and spine. In summary this should not be an issue for "Near Mint" collectors but it's certainly a nice early copy of Abbey Road from the year of it's first release.

LPs (and Vinyl Singles) are shipped well packaged in a solid cardboard box for best possible protection. To avoid seam splits during transport, each vinyl record will be packed separately from it's cover in a plastic protection sleeve.
CDs & DVDs will be sent in bubblewrap envelopes.

Please only send payments after you have received an invoice (including the actual shipping costs) and send payments within a full week after it's arrival.

Values must be declared correctly on shipments to Non-EU destinations, so please be aware of your country's customs regulations before you decide to buy.
