The 1969 pressing from the brilliant Beatles, who were prolific in the recording studio - and due to their retirement from touring and playing live, they concentrated on recording. This album is often rated as their finest work - though sadly their last album recorded together, and with Paul McCartney getting the foursome together in the studio as a united group, they focused on composing these tracks as a band.
In the studio they were still the best!
John Lennon opens with the brilliant 'Come Together'.
George Harrison's 'Something' - he didn't get so many songs, but those he did were breathtakingly good.
He impressed his bandmates enough that they called the song the best on the lp. 'Here Comes The Sun' is wonderful (now known as the most downloaded song).
Paul's medley is astounding.
This pressing is the first lable issue.
The title 'Her Majesty' is not on the lable or the cover.
It's an essential album of all The BEATLES releases, and the collectable first edition.
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades NEAR MINT MINUS
The disc has super sheen, a lovely copy.
Labels are in NEAR MINT CONDITION, no pen, stickers or tears. Very nice. Spindle lines only.
The FULLY LAMINATED COVER (correctly aligned Apple logo) is EX, flat, with light wear. An outstanding copy!
A VERY tidy example, and an investment piece now.
