Description

See Photos.  Comes from a clean non smoking home.  Still in original shrink wrap plastic.  Record is in near mint as is the cover.  Original authentic absolutely true 1st US release.  Legendary Jacksonville Illinois plant pressing. Cover #1, the first Beatles cover album to have a “print-on-board” cover instead of separate slicks. This pressing shows a part of the square metal street access lid (cropped in later version) near the bottom edge of the cover in the crosswalk stripe below where John’s rear foot is. This cover does not have “Her Majesty” listed on the rear cover nor on the record.  First issue green apple label with the bold font Jacksonville style text in one line "ABBEY ROAD THE BEATLES".  True first US pressing original 1969 Apple records SO-383 Stereo (green apple on one side, split apple on the other) label with the ”Manufactured by Apple Records. Inc.” rim print on the slice side of the label.  First issue thick cardboard (American style) cover.  Seller Lot #1810.
