Description

THE BEATLES - ABBEY ROAD  ( U.K. FIRST PRESSING WITH "HER MAJESTY" CREDIT ON LABEL AND APPLE LOGO ALIGNED TO TRACK 1 LISTING)

THE VINYL IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION; THERE ARE SOME HAIRLINE SURFACE MARKS VISIBLE UNDER STRONG LIGHT BUT THESE DO NOT AFFECT THE SOUND WHICH IS EXCELLENT.

THE FULLY LAMINATED GARROD AND LOFTHOUSE COVER IS IN EXCELLENT+ CONDITION. THE SPINE IS CRISP AND CLEAN WITH JUST ONE TINY SCUFF WHICH DOES NOT OBSCURE ANY OF THE LETTERING. THE TOP AND BOTTOM EDGES ARE CLEAN AND UNMARKED. THE LAMINATE STILL HAS A LOVELY SHEEN; THERE IS JUST A VERY SMALL AREA WHERE THE LAMINATE HAS LIFTED SLIGHTLY FROM THE SURFACE ON THE TOP RIGHT OF THE BACK COVER NEAR THE SPINE (SEE PHOTO).

THE ORIGINAL WHITE APPLE INNER BAG IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION; THERE IS JUST ONE TINY SPLIT ON THE CENTRE OF ONE OF THE SEAMS.

THIS ALBUM WAS RELEASED IN 1969 ON APPLE RECORDS CAT. NO. PCS 7088.

THE MATRIX NUMBERS ARE YEX 749-2 / YEX 750-1.

THE SIDE ONE MOTHER STAMPS ARE PAO AT 8:00 & 4 AT 2:00.

THE SIDE TWO STAMPS ARE POA AT 6:00 & 8 AT 11:00.

DUE TO ITS VALUE THIS LP WILL BE SENT VIA SIGNED FOR DELIVERY IN THE U.K. AND INTERNATIONAL SIGNED FOR TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.

Grading

I grade all my records using the Record Collector's Grading System which is as follows:

Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent - The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits discoloration etc.

Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/ or defaced.

Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Packaging

Items are sent out in high quality, professional record packaging, with stiffeners for protection.
