Description
Absolutely gorgeous original 1969 copy of The Beatles' Abbey Road LP on Apple / Capitol SO-383. Los Angeles pressing with the asterisk in the runoff. Original uncropped cover showing then drain covering and with no Her Majesty listed on the cover or the label. This copy is simply beautiful. The disc plays completely flawlessly and just beautifully all the way through. I couldn't resist listening to the whole thing, it sounded so great. Even the really quiet parts like Sun King and Because have not the slightest noise in the background. This copy plays amazingly beautifully. There are a couple of very slight superficial scuffs but they don't make a sound; really it is a top copy. The cover also is nearly immaculate with barely any wear. There are some surface edge creases that are hard to show, and are nearly unnoticeable. No ringwear and very crisp and clean edges and corners. Really a beautiful copy. This is a hard one to beat. Just beautiful.
