MORE DETAILS BELOW
For sale is a highly collectible, genuine 1969 US first-state pressing of The Beatles’ masterpiece, Abbey Road(Apple Records, SO-383). This specific copy is a rare RCA contract pressing, outsourced by Capitol to meet the massive initial demand, as verified by the stamped matrix numbers in the runout grooves: 1-SO-01-383 K F-32 on Side 1 and SO-2-383 1 K B-34 on Side 2. It features the ultimate collector-status "double omission" misprint, meaning the track "Her Majesty" is completely missing from both the back cover text layout and the vinyl center apple labels, pinning its production to the very first weeks of the album's release.
The fragile cardboard jacket is in VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) condition, featuring an exceptionally crisp, un-collapsed spine, perfectly sharp edges, no seam splits, and minimal ring wear. The vinyl has been carefully cleaned and play-tested all the way through, delivering a fantastic, warm audio performance PERFECTLY and should rate a solid NEAR MINT (NM).
While the record shows some light, cosmetic surface marks and scuffs under direct light, the audio playback is excellent, deep, and skip-free. This is an archival-quality, play-verified example of a legendary 1969 variant that will make a premier addition to any serious Beatles collection.
We ship ALL albums in heavy-duty custom album BOXES. This collectible record will be shipped well padded (with album removed from cover).
