Description

This version is the "first label, revised cover" version: Dark green labels with a whole apple on the A-side and a half, sliced-open apple on B-side. The labels have the ("An E.M.I. Recording") text on two lines and small "33 1/3" text moved to the left side. Publishing year printed with a small ℗ symbol. The B-side label does not have "Her Majesty" credits. The labels are quite dark, although the actual shade of green varies between copies. Comes in a fully laminated cover without flaps on the back side. The front cover has the drain showing, the rear cover has the Apple logo aligned with the text.
Another distinguish trait of this pressing is the alternate indenting style on the last two lines of Side B ("Northern Songs. NCB" is by itself on the last line).
Matrix A: YEX 749-2 Matrix B: YEX 750-1
VG+ visual vinyl and cover condition, see pictures. Test played and sounds excellent, only a couple of light pops, nothing serious. . The Vinyl was also visually graded under a high intensity lamp.
The pictures are from the actual item on sale, please view them closely also for item condition.
Shipped same or next working day from UK, in strong cardboard vinyl-mailer. To avoid damage to the cover, we always remove the inner sleeve and vinyl from the cover to avoid splitting and then into a plastic cover to avoid any damp issues during shipment.

For international buyers, we will always provide the import information/documentation needed, but if any tax is due, this is to be paid by you locally, according to your local import tax rules. We have sent many hundreds of items all around the world and more than 99% of items arrive safely.

We will always have proof of postage in the rare case that the item gets lost by the courier.

Grading is done through visual inspection using the Record Collector Grading (vinyl condition/sleeve condition):
For example VG/EX stands for Very Good Vinyl and Excellent Sleeve

MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record/sleeve is as near perfect as it was when first bought

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
