THE BEATLES, Abbey Road - First Press, UK, NO HER MAJESTY, EX/EX. Original black inner, apple logo on back IS aligned. Really a very fine example of this album.
Matrix numbers: Side 1: YEX 749-2; Side 2: YEX 750-1.

Abbey Road, PCS 7088, stereo, September 26, 1969. Album has full laminated cover without flaps on the back side. Covers were printed by Garrod & Lofthouse. The famous cover design done photographer Iain Macmillan. The first version of the cover has a green tint. The record is housed in black inner sleeve with a die-cut circular opening on one side to expose the Apple label.
First pressing, September 26, 1969. Dark green label with an image of an apple on side 1 and sliced apple on side. First label variation has “An E.M.I. Recording” text on two lines and small “33 1/3” text moved to the left side. Publishing year printed with small copyright symbol (p). The label does not have Her Majesty credit on the side.
