Description
THE BEATLES-ABBEY ROAD-ORIGINAL 1978 UK PRESS-GREEN VINYL.
Bids are invited for this mega rare coloured vinyl. This rare original UK 1st press was released in 1978.Fantastic Stereo quality with a fully laminated Garrod & Lofthouse cover. It also still has the original white inner sleeve.Cat No PCS 7088.
This is pressed on heavy vinyl, lovely sharp bright green coloured wax. Both sides still retain a glossy shine.Only under bright light you can see a couple of light handling marks but nothing serious and no scratches.I am pleased to report that both sides play through with no pops, skips and very little background noise.Overall visually and audibly both sides are in a well deserving EXCELLENT+ condition.
Both labels are in superclean shape. As this is the original UK 1st pressing both labels are the apple type(Deep Grooved Centre Rim). Both free from writing or stickers and just very light spindle traces(Only visible on angle viewing).Overall EXCELLENT condition.
The fully laminated Garrod & Lofthouse cover has no faults other than some very light half-moon laminate creases.Very bright, very clean. On the back it has a tiny white sticker on it(MADE IN ENGLAND).
It comes complete in its original white inner sleeve which has patents and made in England Text along the bottom.Very light creasing but nothing else.Overall very clean.
This is a superb chance to own this original 1978 UK LTD Edition coloured press of this 1969 classic..
