THE BEATLES – All You Need Is Love
ORIG Parlophone 45 / R 5620 (UK, 1967)

Happy to offer this UK 1st press of what is surely one of the most fondly remembered Beatles’ singles.
This example omits the ‘Live World Television Transmission’ text, NOT ONLY THAT BUT IT HAS ‘1   G’ MOTHER / STAMPER TO SIDE A - making it very, very early in the production run!  It’s also in very decent shape, minimum EX if not above!
It has an intact push-out centre and the following:

- ‘The Gramophone Co.Ltd’ rim text in upper case

- Song titles in wide font either side

- 7XCE 18425 – 2 / 7 XCE 18426 – 1 Matrices

- Mother/Stampers:  1  G (SIDE A) / 2 G  D  (SIDE B)

- ‘KT’ tax code stamped in the dead wax of both sides and embossed to the centre label of Side B.

The labels are in fine shape – NO stickers, residue, writing, tears or other nasties.  At least EX (Excellent) condition labels with hardly any spindle evidence to the A and only moderate to the B.  The ‘KT’ emboss on the B has been somewhat rubbed making it white.  A very tidy pair of these 50 year old labels.
The vinyl is in way above average condition – two miniscule scuff lines to the A (short and vague) and one tiny (less than 1 cm) nick to the B (no effect on play).  Slight dulling of the surfaces but still a very nice shine.  REMEMBER! I OUTLINE ALL DEFECTS AWAY FROM A TRUE MINT GRADE! This is a lovely copy which grades a strong and true EX (Excellent) – a real EX!  Many would say + or even NM…
IT HAS BEEN CAREFULLY LISTENED TO and both sides play near perfectly with NO issues at all.  So that’s NO snap, crackle or pop, NO ticks, hiss or clicks and NO distortion or loss of clarity / lack of definition.

A fine copy of this 1st press landmark single.  Presented in what I think is its original ‘Type 5’ green Parlophone sleeve.
