Description
A great opportunity to buy a copy of a 7 inch VINYL single from the 60's by The Beatles called "All You Need Is Love".
This is a U.K. pressing released in 1967 on the Parlophone label (R 5620) and has "All You Need Is Love" on the A side with "Baby You're A Rich Man" on the B side.
The text on the label has "The Gramophone Co Ltd" in upper case and "Sold In U.K....". It has a solid centre and importantly, DOES NOT have the label reference to "Recorded during "Live" World Television Transmission". This makes it a rarer FIRST pressing.
The matrix numbers are:- 7XCE 18425 - 2 (A side) and 7XCE 18426 -2 (B side). The B side has the KT tax code.
There are mother stamps identifiable :-
A side - KT (at 12 o'clock) PH (at 3 o'clock) and ? (unclear at 9 o'clock).
B side - KT (at 11 o'clock) GH (at 2 o'clock) and 2 (at 8 o'clock).
The vinyl is in a VERY GOOD condition. I always examine and grade records under a bright table lamp and there are many light surface marks and some scuffs, but nothing too serious. I have carefully played both sides and they play well and sound fine.
The labels have a name written on both sides, more noticeable when tilted towards the light, otherwise they are clean and free of any major defects.
The record is housed within an original company sleeve in an EXCELLENT condition.
