(Parlophone R5620 UK 7" Single 1967)

This is a 1967 UK 1st pressing 7" Single in very nice overall condition. Playback is great too! This is the very earliest 1967 UK pressing which has no reference to the "Recorded during "Live" World Television Transmission" credit on the A-side label. These are quite scarce.

The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has black & silver "Parlophone" paper labels. These have a solid centre. The labels have "The Gramophone Co..." and "Sold in UK..." texts. There is a small embossed company "KT" tax code around the spindle hole on the B-side. 

The record has 1st press 7XCE 18425-1 and 18426-2 matrix numbers. These are machine stamped in the dead wax. The mother stampers are GR 1 and P 1 respectively. "KT" is machine stamped in the dead wax on both sides also.

This single comes complete with its original generic green & white Parlophone company paper sleeve. This has a wavy die-cut top opening area. The original owner has neatly written "All You Need Is Love....Beatles" in blue biro pen along the top of the paper sleeve (see photo). It has a period advertising "Fran The Fan" comic strip style rear sleeve. This is for "Morphy-Richards" hairdryers. Therefore, this is 100 percent the original Parlophone paper sleeve which came with this single.

Vinyl: There is a very feint 1cm hairline surface rub mark on the A-side. There is a light 1cm hairline surface mark at the start of the A-side. There is a light 1cm hairline surface mark at the start of the B-side too. These hardly really notice under a strong light. There is a very mild 3.5cm hairline surface mark on the B-side. This is not too noticeable under a strong light. There is a light 2cm hairline surface sleeve rub mark on the B-side. This barely notices under a strong light.

Otherwise, there are some light, very mild or very minor surface sleeve rubs which can hardly be seen under a strong light. The original paper sleeve, over time, has left some light, very mild or very minor feint, or dull, surface marks on a few areas. They are mainly on the dead wax areas. These, again, can hardly be seen under a strong light. Overall, this single is in Very Good++ condition. 

There is a tiny 0.6 cm surface rub mark at the spindle hole on the B-side's label (see photo). This is a bit thicker than a hairline mark. Otherwise, the labels show light or mild spindle wear only. The A-side label is in Excellent+ condition. The B-side label is in Very Good+ condition.

The original Parlophone company paper sleeve is in Near Excellent condition. There is some light, very mild or very minor ringwear & creasing. As stated, there is a neatly written artist/ title text along the top edge of the front sleeve. This writing was done back at the time of release in 1967. There is also a tiny sticker stain in the top right hand corner tip area of the front sleeve. This hardly really notices. There are no seam splits.

I have play tested this single in its entirety & it plays Very Near Excellent to Excellent overall, & Excellent+ in many places. There is some light, very mild or very minor crackle in a few quieter places. There are no clicks or pops on the A-side. There are a couple of very mild clicks midway through the B-side. These are very much in the background and hardly really notice. There are no other clicks or pops on the B-side. Overall, a great audio copy!

I shall place the vinyl into a separate plain paper sleeve. This will protect the original paper sleeve from any damage during the shipping process.

Please note that there are now VAT import charges from the UK into all EU countries. Anything under 150 Euros will need an IOSS number. VAT is paid at point of sale. For any items over 150 Euros in value. There will be a customs charge too. These vary, I believe, from country to country. Please check your relevant postal service online for details. Please note that these charges are beyond my control and are the law for outside parcels going into the EU.

All records will be sent in high quality vinyl box/ mailers with at least two card stiffeners either side of the LP or 7" Single. I use a cruciform box for larger orders (3-6 LPs). All parcels will be marked "Fragile" and dispatch time will generally be between 1-3 days after payment.

I will also remove the vinyl from the sleeve & place them in a re-sealable polythene sleeve. In order to prevent seam splits. Depending on the inner sleeve; I often remove the vinyl from the inner sleeve & place it in a separate plain paper, or polythene-lined, plain inner sleeve. I am very conscientious and careful when packaging your LP(s).
