I'VE BEEN COLLECTING FOR NEARLY 60 YEARS. NOW IT'S TIME TO MAKE SOME SPACE BECAUSE, LIKE MOST SERIOUS COLLECTORS, I HAVE TOO MUCH STUFF.

THE VINYL: VERY GOOD+
HAS HAIRLINES AND SOME SCUFFS AND SCRATCHES, BUT NOTHING SERIOUS. IT PLAYS VERY WELL WITH NO STICKS OR JUMPS. IT HAS VERY FEW CLICKS AND CRACKLES, THEN ONLY PROMINENT IN QUIETER SECTIONS AND IN BETWEEN TRACKS. HAS VERY CLEAN LABELS. HAS MINOR SPINDLE MARKS AND MINIMAL SPINDLE WEAR.
THE COVER: VERY GOOD
HAS NO SERIOUS DAMAGE BUT HAS SOME LAMINATE CREASES ON EDGES AND MORE CREASES ON THE FRONT (see photos). FLIP-BACKS ARE FIRM AND COMPLETE. HAS NO SELLOTAPE OR WRITING. HAS SOME EDGE AND SPINE CREASES. NO REAL LAMINATE LIFT. A LITTLE RING WEAR ON REAR OF SLEEVE. A FAIR BIT OF CORNER WEAR, 1" SPLIT AT CENTRE TOP EDGE AND HAS SOME EDGE WEAR AND SPINE WEAR SO IT IS NOT COMPLETELY READABLE. THE OPENING EDGES ARE FAIRLY TIDY. HAS THE 'VERY COMMON' CORNER DAMAGE ON THE TOP / BOTTOM 'HINGE' OF SLEEVE, (all photographed).
INNER SLEEVE: VERY GOOD+
Incorrect Emitex advertising inner sleeve (from around 1966) has minor creasing, slight discolouration through ageing, no significant stains or marks. No edge splits or tears. No writing or sellotape.

Strictly Graded Using RECORD COLLECTOR Grading System
Grading System: I have used Record Collector magazine set of standards for the condition of second-hand records. I have added a (+) or (-) to my gradings where applicable.
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be Mint. (NOTE: As far as I am concerned MINT will never apply to second hand vinyl records).
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
I grade all records in accordance with the Rare Record Price Guide (see above). However, if you feel I have graded your record incorrectly please email me ASAP so we can resolve the problem amicably.
Post & Packaging - I recycle all packaging so you will get your goods in recycled packaging. All items over £20 are sent ‘Tracked' and I always obtain 'Proof of Posting' for cheaper items. All items are securely and properly packaged and vinyl is sent using double corrugated cardboard stiffeners or similar.
