A 1964 first UK pressing from the brilliant Beatles, who were prolific in the recording studio - and due to their then recent retirement from touring and playing live, they concentrated on recording.
This album is rated as their finest work ...and actually the finest by ANY artist!
However... not much by them was ever 'second rate' (proof of which can be heard on their singles 'b' sides!).
In the studio they were still the top band - the best in the world then, and now.
This FIRST UK STEREO EDITION is special and still an essential album of The BEATLES original releases.
At this point Stereo was not the prime format, but producers were still working with few channels and had yet to fully exercise the stereo format - but this was improving with every release.
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades VG++ to EX, a very respectable copy of this early disc.
Labels are EX, no stickers or tears.
Few spindle lines visible, KT tax code and PARLOPHONE perimeter text.
The first print LAMINATED FLIPBACK GATEFOLD COVER is VG, and has title seam wear
