Description
At the end of spring 1984, the rimtext was again slightly altered. Importantly, around the 11 ‘o’ clock position in the rimtext the wording is: “UNAUTHORISED COPYING, HIRING, RENTING, PUBLIC PERFORMANCE AND BROADCASTING…”. This label used between April 1984 and 1987
In 1984 the label changed once more, this time the rimtext was added to and so now circles round the entire label rim, reading: “Apple Records – All Rights Of The Producer And Of The Owner Of The Recorded Work Reserved. Unauthorised Copying, Hiring, Renting, Public Performance And Broadcasting Are Prohibited”. Manufactured in the UK by EMI Records Limited”. This label text coincides with a rimtext change in the Parlophone label which occurred in 1984 so we can pretty confidently assume the same change was forced upon Apple at the same time.
super hard to find UK pressing--NO BAR CODES--"no renting" on labels-apparently this came out for one year only, records have never been played--all inserts--white album has the poster and 4 photos on heavyweight paper, Pepper has the insert, if you collect Beatles labels, this is one set to own--sure to go up in value--the last one sold here on eBay for $1200 just a few months ago.
