An exceptional collector-grade example of The Beatles Box Set, the sought-after 1988 UK/European 16-LP collection presented in its original roll-close wooden box.
This set comes from a carefully maintained collection and has been played very little. Some of the records may never have been played at all.
Condition
Vinyl: Near Mint (NM)
All 16 records are in beautiful Near Mint condition. Many appear and play virtually Mint, with wonderfully quiet playing surfaces, in run-ins and in-between tracks. The only signs of previous handling are some occasional faint sleeve-removal marks from the records being taken in and out of their inner sleeves. These are superficial only. Let's be honest - who wouldn't want to reach in and get one of these straight on the turntable!
Individual album sleeves: Mint
The album covers are in outstanding condition and have clearly always been stored safely inside the outer wooden box. They're really some of the best we've seen, with no marks, creases, edge wear or scuffs. Each one is immaculate. The spines and corners are in great shape (see photos of 'Help!' album).
Wooden Box: Near Mint
The original roll-close wooden box is in great shape and has been well-preserved. There's a slight sign it's had a small knock on the front bottom edge, but this is hard to notice unless looking carefully. See photographs. There's also some dust in the grooves of the roll-close lid, but this is to be expected from something almost 40 years old! Aside from this, it's a brilliant condition outer box.
Book: Included
The original accompanying book is present, containing information and commentary on every track from every album in the collection. It's a very interesting read!
Original inserts and extras: Included
Albums originally supplied with additional material retain their corresponding extras, including the postcards, prints and other inserts associated with releases such as The Beatles (The White Album) and Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.
The set is believed to be complete and exactly as originally issued.

This is one of the finest-condition complete examples of this set that we have encountered. The combination of Near Mint vinyl, Mint album sleeves, original book, inserts and remarkably limited use makes it an outstanding set for the serious Beatles collector.
Due to its weight, value and condition, the box set will be packed extremely carefully for delivery. The records will be secured appropriately to prevent movement or damage in transit.
