USA LP album plus UK 45/single - the LP is a +EX collectable USA vintage press with unique tracks to this USA issue – the 45/single is a 45/single 1964 press that was the first release of two tracks on the LP.

The LP album Beatles ’65 included eight tracks taken directly from UK/Australia release of Beatles For Sale. The song “I’ll Be Back” was taken from the album “A Hard Day’s Night”. The songs “She’s A Woman” and “I Feel Fine” first appeared on a LP album on this USA album Beatles '65. "I Feel Fine" was first released in 1964 as the A-side of their eighth British single. The song has one of the earliest deliberate uses of guitar feedback in popular music. These latter two songs were issued in "duophonic" stereo and included added reverb by Capitol Records to cover up the use of the mono mixes sent from England.

An online review: “Oddly enough Beatles ’65 was released in December 1964 and while the record was not a straight ahead new release, an almost greatest hits sort of thing, the assemblage of tracks held together rather well, with the song tracking order having been duly considered, allowing the music to flow in an unfettered fashion of both style and context.”

LP Vinyl Grade: +EX, lovely high gloss, no scratches, no marks, not even any hairlines, looks unplayed/outstanding. Note – like lots of old vintage vinyl it plays fine with a very small edge wobble that is gone after track one. (+EX is highest grade I use for vintage vinyl)

LP Sound Quality: +EX, plus excellent with no noticeable surface noise, it has outstanding stunning sound quality.

LP Cover: NM, near mint cover, flat, no damage, no edge wear.

45/Single 1964 Gt Britain press – has tracks “She’s A Woman” and “I Feel Fine” and these two tracks also are on this matching LP album. Looks VG with many light scratches and plays/sounds fine with some surface noise. 

Records graded directly under very bright table light for the visual grade. Sound quality checked by playing to ensure that visual grade and sound quality are consistent. 

Mint M and Near Mint NM: Looks perfect as new. N and NM is only appropriate for new reissue records and not for vintage vinyl that has been played, regardless of how perfect it may look.

Excellent Plus +EX: Lovely gloss, no visible scratches, scuffs or marks. Has been played but has been handled well and still in great condition. (highest grade that I use for vintage vinyl)

Excellent EX: Lovely gloss, shows some slight signs of wear, including light trace/hairlines from the inner sleeve, light scuffs or very light marks that you would not expect to hear as surface noise. 

Very Good Plus +VG: Shows a few more very light marks than is allowable for EX so not quite EX. These signs of use would be expected to cause some light surface noise but not to detract from the music.

Very Good VG: Shows light scratches and marks and some that you would expect to cause surface noise, especially in soft passages, between tracks and during a song?s intro and ending but not so much as to overpower the music which can still be enjoyed.

Very Good Minus -VG: Shows significant wear and marks that you would expect to cause noticeable surface noise that detracts from the music.

Good G: In the record world, 'Good' is not good! From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about beat-up records lacking much of the original gloss and with many scratches and marks that you would expect to cause very noticeable surface noise and clicks/pops that seriously detract from enjoyment of the music.
