This is the UK 1st press of 'Beatles For Sale' by The Beatles. This is a genuine 1st Press on the Yellow & Black Parlophone label, 'Sold in the UK' text, 'Parlophone Co Ltd' rim text and 'Recording First Published' label text. It comes complete with the original Emitex inner sleeve and the gatefold laminated flipback outline 'mono' sleeve.
The record is in Very Good condition. The vinyl has a superb bright gloss, with a just a few light marks on both sides and a number of hairlines. On playing the sound is exceptionally rich and clear. There are a couple of clicks but otherwise it is extremely bold, the voices are sharp and the background has light noise but is still vibrant. The yellow and black Parlophone label is completely clean. The black is very bold, the yellow is bright and the silver text is perfect. There is only light spindle wear. The record is complete with its original Emitex polylined inner.
The laminated flipback sleeve is in Very Good condition. The colours are exceptionally bold, the laminate has a wonderful polished shine and the text is sharp. There is some laminate lift and light edge and corner wear. The inside is clean with bold black and crisp white text. The box style spine is exceptionally firm and the sleeve is still very solid.
