Description
Details. From my own personal collection. Relisted due to buyer being unable to pay. Rare 1964 1st UK pressing of Beatles For Sale by The Beatles. Released on the original Parlophone black/yellow labels. Catalogue No. PCS 3062, Stereo. Mega rare crossed out matrix and mega early mother stampers, see details below
- Parlophone Co. and Recording first published' text on label rim.
- MATRIX:YEX 142-1 / 143-1 (ULTRA RARE CROSSED OUT MATRIX) Mother stampers Side 1. 1 GP, Side 2. 1 A
- Laminated G & L sleeve with visible flaps on inside. Outline 'Stereo' on the top right front.
- Lovely clean Emitex rice-paper inner
Vinyl Condition:- A strong EX to EX+. Gleaming vinyl with nothing more that light sleeve brushings visible when viewed at an angle under bright light. Test played on complete Rega system. The audio quality is as you would expect from a MINT grade, crystal clear with no distortion or unwanted clicks.
Sleeve Condition:- EX. I have taken close up shots of every aspect of the sleeve. Small ding on top spine corner and light wear on the other. Front laminate has some fine feathered creases near the spine and some light d-creases near the right edge. On the back, one light crease in the laminate and slight hint of impression left by the rim, mild. Spine in nice and crisp and fully readable. The laminate retains excellent shine. Inside the gatefold is nice and clean. A delicate sleeve that has been well looked after over the years.
Label Condition:- VG++ Some light wear and a few visible spindle marks on both sides, which I have photographed very clearly.

Grading Abbreviations
Grading below is as stated from UK Record Collector. I also use +/- for records that fall somewhere between a grade
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable
Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing .
Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
