On offer here is a rare UK STEREO 1st pressing of the album BEATLES FOR SALE by THE BEATLES
The Cat. No is PCS3062 on the YELLOW AND BLACK PARLOPHONE label and dates from 1964. The matrix numbers are as follows: Side 1, YEX 142-1. Side 2 YEX 143-1. The mothers and stampers are as follows: Side 1, 1 above what looks like a 6 on the left hand side and AP on the right. Side 2, 1 on the left GO on the right.
THE LABELS are in EXCELLENT condition (see pictures) with NO WRITING and only a few light spindle marks.
THE VINYL cosmetically is in VG condition. There is still a nice shine but there are a few wispy hairlines and light marks which are non feelable. It would grade higher but for a few more obvious marks on side 2 which are non feelable. I have played it through and it sounds great with NO JUMPS or STICKS and very little background noise at all which is only audible on the run on grooves & gaps and more quiet moments. Playback grades as EX.
THE INNER SLEEVE is a tracing paper lined EMITEX inner sleeve which is in EX condition with tape with NO WRITING or TEARS.
THE COVER is the ORIGINAL outer laminated gatefold cover with the OUTLINE STEREO text. This is in EX condition, with NO WRITING or TEARS. There is some wear to the top and bottom of the spine and a little very minor creasing. The spine is fully legible.
A RARE COLLECTABLE ALBUM IN NICE CONDITION.
