History of The Beatles Christmas Album

Each year from 1963 until 1969, the Beatles recorded a short Christmas message for their fans composed of carols, skits, jokes, and thanks to the loyal "Beatle People." Each recording was pressed onto a 7" flexi disc and mailed free to the British members of the Fan Club. In 1970, in the wake of the band's break-up, Apple released this compilation of all seven years.

Vinyl Condition:  VG+ (Very Good Plus - Very clean, very glossy, few very light scratches that should not affect the play)

Jacket Condition:  G to G+ (Good to Good Plus - heavy wear on all seams and corners; ring wear and some discoloration spots, possible water spots on front cover)

MINT (M)  Absolutely perfect in every way - never played; still sealed. 

NEAR MINT (NM) A nearly perfect record.  Record and jacket show no obvious signs of wear.  

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it.  Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience.  A Very Good Plus record is highly acceptable.

VERY GOOD (VG)  May have light scratches that could affect the sound.  Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers attached. 

GOOD (G) or GOOD PLUS (G+) Good does not mean bad!  A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping, but it may have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear.  A jacket or sleeve may have seam splits.

POOR (P) FAIR (F) Record may be cracked or warped and won't play through without skipping or repeating.  LP jacket barely keeps the LP inside.  Inner sleeves may have fully split seams, writing, etc.
