Description

This boxed set is in excellent condition (Near Mint) with the following exceptions.

  • The bottom box has some water damage caused by a leak from a bottle of distilled water that was sitting next to it.  The records were not in the box when this occurred.
  • Please Please Me has a small scuff or scratch on side 2.  It wasn't audible when played on my VPI Scout 2 with a SoundSmith Zephyr MIMC cartridge.
  • Hard Days Night has some slight visible scuff marks that aren't audible.
  • Beatles For Sale has residue on both sides from an Audioquest Sorbothane record mat I used many years ago. It left an oily residue on the records that I could never remove.  I even sent the records to Audioquest for cleaning but they weren't able to remove the residue either.
  • Sgt. Peppers has the Audioquest residue on side 1 only.
All of the other albums look new.  The jackets are all excellent and have always been kept in their poly sleeves.  The White album includes two posters and the individual portraits of the four Beatles.
