THE BEATLES
"A COLLECTION OF BEATLES OLDIES"
PARLOPHONE LABEL - RARE 1 BOX EMI - STEREO LP - RELEASED 1969
YEX.619-1G / YEX.620-1G
A collection of 16 classic tracks, including:
SHE LOVES YOU - FROM ME TO YOU - YESTERDAY - MICHELLE - YELLOW SUBMARINE - DAY TRIPPER - PAPERBACK WRITER etc etc
Condition:
Sleeve: VERY GOOD :- Laminated "flipback" sleeve in great condition. Several light but noticable creases along the spine, and scuffing to corners and along opening edge. All seams are intact, and there is no unwanted writing.
Record: VERY GOOD - There are one or two light surface scuffs and scratches, noticably on side 1, but none of these have any adverse effect on playback. Lovely deep sheen to vinyl, and labels are spotless and show the very lightest signs of spindle wear.
An exceptionally good example of an original 1969 release [identified by the 1 box EMI label].
Plays quite beautifully.
[Ref: Beatles/05]

I try to accurately describe the condition as per The Record Collector's Guide's parameters:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or unplayed should be mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have some slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.
