The Beatles Christmas Album
Super Rare 1970 Fan Club Promo in Shrink!
SBC-100 "Not For Sale"
I personally believe this is an authentic Beatles Christmas Album. Since I have no way to verify the authenticity, I'm selling the record AS IS and will let the bidder decide. I'm not a record historian or a professional grader.
The album is still in shrink and the cover is in VG++ to EX condition with only minor wear from storage over the years. The vinyl, however, has some warping (most likely due to a heat source). It is just on one edge and is fairly insignificant, but it is warping nonetheless. Other than the warping, the vinyl is very glossy and only has typical surface marks/residue. I do not see any noticeable scratches.
I have not play-tested the album, so I do not know how much the warping will affect the first song or two. Hopefully, the winner is a ninja at removing any trace of warping from super rare vinyl records!
A few points on the authenticity of this album:
The dead wax says SBC-100-A/SBC-100-B with no other visible marking (first press?). The "Theatre Roy..(al) is clearly visible on the group photo on the front. The covers/picutres on the back are very clear. (My photo is blurry).
I am not a "record grading expert" and these have not been play tested.
I am just using my best judgement and grading very conservatively.
I'm selling this As Is Because I do not know 100% for sure if it is Authentic
