Original, very early 1980s-issued 13-LP box set of The Beatles. This is on the Parlophone label BC-13 (original U.K. pressing). This set contains exact reissues of all their original U.K. Parlophone and Apple LP's from the 1960s with the original cover artwork, as well as one additional ("Rarities") LP. Note that one ("The White Album") is also a two-record set, so there are actually 14 vinyls total. All of the LP's are pressed in stereo. Also note that both the "Sgt. Pepper" and "White Album" include reproductions of the original insert materials as well. Grading is as follows: 
The vinyls are all in absolutely beautiful near mint/unplayed condition!! There are no spindle marks on any of the labels. All of the records are housed in their original white paper inner sleeves.
The covers are all in very sharp VG+ (or better) condition!! No splits, no tears, no creases, no writing, no stains, etc. Most of the covers do show some slight signs of having been stored untouched and a little too tightly together in the box over many years. Because of this, there are some additional things I do need to point out...
-"Please Please Me" has a tiny 'speck' of surface paper loss in the lower-right corner tip of the front side only.
-"A Hard Day's Night" has some circular, label-area ring damage on the front side only.
-"Beatles For Sale" has a tiny 'speck' of surface paper loss in the lower-right corner tip of the front side and some circular, label-area ring damage on the back side.
-"Help!" has a tiny 'speck' of surface paper loss in the lower-left corner tip of the back side and some very slight circular, label-area ring damage on the back side.
-"Rubber Soul" has a small 'speck' of surface paper loss in the lower-left corner tip of the back side.
-"Revolver" has some very slight circular, label-area ring damage on the back side.
-"Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" has a couple small 'specks' of surface paper loss in the lower-left corner tip of the back side and some very faint circular, label-area ring damage on the back side as well. The cutout/insert sheet is in great shape!!
-"The White Album" has a small 'speck' of surface paper loss in the lower-right corner tip of the front side. The four bonus photos and the large photo/lyric poster are all in great shape!!
-"Yellow Submarine" has a small 'speck' of surface paper loss in the lower-right corner tip of the front side and some slight circular, label-area ring damage on the front side as well.
-"Abbey Road" has some slight circular, label-area ring damage to both sides and a small 'spot' of surface paper loss in the lower-right corner tip of the front side as well.
-"Let It Be" has a small 'spot' of surface paper loss in the lower-left corner tip of the back side and some slight circular, label-area ring damage on the back side as well.
-"Rarities" has some very slight surface/rubbing wear to both sides.




The outer box is a solid VG and it displays very nicely overall!! The box is just a little 'bowed/impaled' mainly on the front side, probably from being stored too tightly up against something else for a long period of time. There is also one very small (half-inch) 'pressure split' along the top flap seam edge (near the upper-right corner) of the front side as well. No large splits, no surface tears, no creases, no writing, no stains, etc.

I personally write all of my own descriptions, take all of my own photos, and package all items for mailing myself.  I do not use text, photos or information from “other” sources and would certainly never do so without referencing them. My vinyl and cover/sleeve gradings are as follows:

MINT: I do not use this grade except for sealed/unopened items.

NEAR MINT or MINT MINUS: Vinyl looks basically brand new, untouched, unplayed or nearly unplayed. Cover looks pretty much as new with no real flaws to speak of. This is basically how the item would have looked when it was new from the factory.

VG++: Very close to M-, with vinyl showing only the very slightest, most subtle signs of any past handling or play. Cover may show just the barest hint of wear from age, but nothing at all serious or detracting. 

VG+: Vinyl shows some subtle signs that it was played in the past, but was generally well taken care of. Cover shows only some minor signs of age or wear, but nothing too detracting.

VG: Vinyl is beginning to show more obvious signs of past handling and play but still has strong sound quality overall. Cover is beginning to show more signs of age and wear, but is fully intact and still displays very well overall.

GOOD: Vinyl has very obvious signs of wear from over the years, but still plays strongly and enjoyably enough. Cover has obvious wear and tear from age, but is intact and still displayable.

***My very good and good records are very good and good, not bad and even worse! I also do not use the EX (excellent) grading at all.***

FAIR:  Record wasn’t properly cared for in the past and very clearly shows it, but it is still playable and should be enjoyable enough for some. I rarely offer records in this condition.
