The Beatles - Beatles Collection on EMI BC-13 1978 release.
Here is the coveted US pressing of the Beatles Blue Box. It was only pressed in an edition of 3000 numbered copies and is much rarer than the UK box, which was imported to US once this version sold out. It is complete with the Beatles Rarities LP, 4 panel poster, and all 12 studio LP's STILL SEALED . The only one which is not sealed is the Rarities album, which only came in a printed inner sleeve, and was not sent out sealed originally. This box has the gold numbering towards the upper side of the left of the face. This one is number 1445.
Cover: Strong VG. I have to grade this one conservatively due to the value. The box has various minor scuffs, the most pronounced one being visible towards the top center of the front face of the box. It also has a 3 inch tear in the delicate blue tolex-like material on the right side of the front face and a 1/3 inch tear on the left, which is hard to see unless you look closely. This was most likely caused by the strain of opening the lid on this 35 year old box. All in all, the box looks really good but it isn't perfect! Vinyl: The 12 studio albums are STILL SEALED complete with "Imported From England Capitol/EMI" sticker. They don't even seem like they had been taken out of the box, as they were all kind of stuck together. The Rarities album grades VG+ with just a few small superficial sleeve marks. The Rarities sleeve grades VG with some creasing and about a 2 inch split on the bottom. Poster: VG+ looks nice with little signs of wear.
