EP Collection
Low start!.....NO Reserve!.....NO high priced ‘Buy It Now’.
Boxed issue of 13 EPs, issued in 1981. From the collection of an ex-EMI employee, all EPs are near mint (most mint) condition with no sign of play. The box has a little wear, no splits or rips.
Issued with 14 EPs. ‘Magical Mystery Tour’ is the only one missing from this set.
Of special interest to Beatles collectors is SGE 1 – a special EP issued with the boxed set. The four rarer tracks are:
A1. THE INNER LIGHT - Originally this was issued as the ‘B’ side of the single ‘Lady Madonna’ in 1968. However, this is the first time the track has been released in stereo.
A2. BABY YOU’RE A RICH MAN - Released in mono in 1967 as the ‘B’ side of ‘All you need is Love’, this stereo version has only appeared on the UK cassette of ‘Magical Mystery Tour’ and on the German issue of the ‘Magical Mystery Tour’ album.
B1. SHE’S A WOMAN - This stereo track was originally issued in mono as the ‘B’ side of ‘I feel fine’ in 1964. It is only available in stereo on an Australian album and was recently included in the box set compilation ‘The Beatles Box’ issued by World Records.
B2. THIS BOY - Never before issued in stereo in the UK although it has appeared on releases in both Canada and Australia. It was originally the ‘B’ side of ‘I Want To Hold Your Hand’ released in 1963.
