Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles For Sale' 1964 FIRST press STEREO vinyl LP!
This particular pressing is the FIRST pressing of Beatles For Sale, released in 1964. What makes this record special is the fact that it is in the STEREO format. In 1964, stereo records weren't in demand as not many people had the correct systems to even play them on. These records had to be specially ordered through record shops! A scarce record for sure! DO NOT MISS OUT!

EARLY MOTHER STAMPER ON SIDE 2!
Condition:
Vinyl (visual): Side 1 - there are a decent amount of light scratches and hairline marks on the record... a few of them are lightly feelable but not deep! Still retains a nice gloss and shine and could do with a clean. Rated as VERY GOOD-/VERY GOOD. Label is GOOD+. Side 2 - same as Side 1!
Audio: I have play-tested the first two tracks on either side ONLY!!! I can confirm that these 4 tracks plays VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ (just) with no skips, no skips and no jumps on my system. There is some obvious crackle present but mainly in the background once the music starts playing. Very punchy bass with that lovely, loud 60s warmth and crisp clean highs with a surprising amount of clarity! Can hear every instrument but there is some background crackle present - a deep clean could help this!
Inner Sleeve: The original EMITEX inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ condition! It has some discolouration, creasing and light, general wear but there are no seam splits and it houses the record perfectly!
Sleeve: The original 1964 STEREO gatefold flipback sleeve is currently rated as VERY GOOD-/VERY GOOD! The front of the sleeve has a lovely gloss and shine but it does have wear towards the edges with the top and bottom edges being curved. The sleeve is free from writing but does have some discolouration to the edges. The flipbacks have some marks and discolouration. The spine is 99% readable with lots of wear and creases - particularly towards the corners.
