Description

I am selling my complete collection of The Beatles and Beatles-related records, albums, and novelties.

This lot is for a 12" LP 33 1/3 rpm vinyl record album titled "BEATLES FOR SALE" by THE BEATLES, originally released in 1964 in the UK. This is the 4th LP album released by the Beatles in the UK.

This issue was issued by PARLOPHONE Records label # PMC-1240. This is the MONO version and is imported from GREAT BRITAIN.

- The record is in very good condition. I just 1 small surface scratch on side 2 that plays without skipping on my turntable. Then depending on the light source (natural light vs. desk lamp), I see some very faint hairline micro-scratches on both sides.
- The jacket cover is in good condition. There are no split seams, puncture holes, or saw cuts.  There are no writings on the covers. There is overall wear on the spine and cover - see photos. The jacket cover is in a gatefold format.

This is the original 1964 issue and 1st pressing, as evidenced by the following:
- Matrix / Runout on the record (Variation 1), side A, runout stamped: XEX 503-3N
- Matrix / Runout on the record (Variation 1), side B, runout stamped: XEX 504-3N
 - black label with yellow Parlophone logo
- print around the bottom perimeter rim copyright text reads beginning with, “THE PARLOPHONE CO LTD...',
- the text “RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1964”  is printed above the side indicator numeral,
- the text “SOLD IN U.K. SUBJECT TO...” printed across the middle, just above the spindle hole.

A must have LP album for the collector of The Beatles who want a complete collection or add an unusual item to your collection.
