PRESSED ON SOLID, HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL (173g) WITH THE DARK GREEN APPLE LABELS WITH "The Official Beatles Fan Club" TEXT, ("An E.M.I. Recording") AND "Mfd. in U.K."
MATRIX NUMBERS: LYN 2154 / LYN 2153 (stamped on the wrong sides)
THE RECORD IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL FRONT LAMINATED SLEEVE "Printed in England by West Brothers . Printers. Ltd, London, SW19"
COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL DIE-CUT INNER SLEEVE WITH UK PATENT NUMBER AND "MADE IN ENGLAND" PRINTED IN BLUE
Between 1963 and 1969, the Beatles recorded seven special Christmas singles for their fan club.
These were not formal musical efforts, but closer to off-the-cuff comedy.
Early on, they tend to be cheery and thankful for their success, and later on the recordings are more esoteric. (Reflecting their breakup, the 1969 recording is four separate pieces.)
In December 1970, in the wake of the band's break-up, the UK fan-club sent out a compilation LP of all seven recordings, entitled From Then to You.
The master tapes having been mislaid, the LP was mastered from copies of the original flexi discs which accounts for the light crackle and surface noise heard on occasion.

An immaculate set of clean, factory-fresh, unmarked labels with just one tiny spindle trace on one side, none on the other
VINYL Visual: MINT
Both surfaces shine like-new and even under bright light there is barely a wispy hairline to be seen
VINYL Audio: MINT
Apart from a little surface/crackle on occasion which is from the original flexi-discs from which this pressing was sourced it plays beautifully throughout with absolutely nothing to fault
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT
Apart from some light creases to the extremities/corners the cover is clean and unmarked with a deep gloss to the front laminate and sharp edges and spine (no spine text)
