Description
Hello and welcome to my auction
What I have for sale is the very rare Japanese reproduction of the ill fated Get Back album. This is a perfect reproduction of the UK promotional album only relesed to radio stations and a few close friends in the summer of 1969. As a matter of fact, WBCN in Boston Massachusetts, received a copy of the original pressing and broadcast it in the summer of 1969. This album has been faithfully reproduced from the laminated jacket to the original looking acetate lables on the records.
This was produced in very limited numbers and comes with what looks like an original Apple records mailer with 4 original stamps of the lunar landing circa 1969. Post marked with a mailing lable to Victor Spinetti, we all know who he was. The lables on the records are the correct drawn apple acetate lables used on promo and acetate records. Type written song titles and record information true to the originals. This also comes with a type written memorandum from Mal Evans on Apple stationary detailing the new release and the way it was recorded. Truly a gem to behold. It also comes with a beautiful poster. The condition of the whole package is NM+ t0 Mint-. The Jacket is NM with beautiful colors and corners, with no creasing evident. No statins or tannning. There is only a slight mark on the front cover to the right of Johns head. Records are mint with no scratches or sleeve rash. Record comes with original sleeve but is housed in Mobile Fidelity sounds labs high quality record sleeve. Poster has no tears and was never hung up. You will not find another copy like this one. I have only seen 3 copys like this come up for sale on ebay since 2005. It was pressed in limited numbers due to the high priced packaging. You will see the Cheap German copy floating around made by TMOQ with the Pig lables. Not of the same quality. This was pressed around the same time as the highly saught after Japanese Butcher album early 90's I beleive.
Good luck bidding
