Description

Excellent First Pressing copy of The Beatles HELP album in Mono PMC 1255. Matrix numbers Side one XEX 549-2 Side two XEX 550-2 The vinyl plays perfectly, loud, crisp with no distortion. K.T. Tax code on label. Hardly any sign of spindle wear which denotes the amount a record has been played. In daylight can't see any noticeable mark except for one light handling mark that had no effect under test play conditions. Its a lovely album that is nice and quiet between the tracks in the dead wax which is hard to find.None of that awful excessive crackle.
The label is clean and tidy with the correct wording such as "The Gramophone Co Ltd " on the bottom rim and "Sold in the UK" across the middle. Another thing a first pressing has is the space between  track 4 side one "I need you" that has a credit indicator * which is spaced apart from the title.
The Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve is in excellent minus condition some signs of ageing but no rips, tears, writing or excessive dents and creases etc. See photos. There is also the original EMITEX inner sleeve included. And of course has the important small "mono" top right hand of cover. The spine is fully readable and the corners  are nice and firm. Some slight wear on opening edge to be picky. This is an honest description to the best of my ability. A nice copy that plays extremely well with no excessive background noise.

NEAR MINT. virtually unplayed no visible sign of wear.

EXCELLENT. Minor surface wear that shouldn't have any real effect.

VERY GOOD PLUS. Some light surface marks through handling but nothing nasty and plays well.

VERY GOOD. Some surface wear might crackle certainly on quiet passages or the intro.

GOOD. Lot of visible surface wear but if the record is a loud song might still reproduce the record quite well.

FAIR. Very poor quality and appearance but might still play through without sticking or other defect
