THE BEATLES - HELP!
THIS IS AN ORIGINAL FIRST UK LABEL WITH THE EARLIEST SET OF MOTHER / STAMPERS I HAVE SEEN. A FIRST DAY RELEASE COPY !
MONO PMC 1255
XEX 549 - 2 1 A
XEX 550 - 2 1 R
THE THICKSET VINYL HAS KEPT A LOVELY SHEEN AND WHEN VIEWED UNDER BRIGHT HALOGEN LIGHT IT SHOWS JUST A FEW LIGHT HAIRLINES AND WISPY SLEEVE REMOVAL LINES.A GREAT VINYL GRADES AT LEAST VG+
THE VINYL SOUNDS GREAT WITH NO SKIPS OR CLICKS OR SURFACE CRACKLE. EVEN MOST OF THE RUN OUTS WERE SILENT. JUST STRONG PUNCHY MONO GRADES EXCELLENT
THE LABELS ARE BRIGHT AND ONLY SHOW SLIGHT SPINDLE TRAILS .NO DAMAGE OR GRAFFITI GRADE VG+
THE MONO SLEEVE FRONT REMAINS NICE AND BRIGHT AND SHOWS SOME LIGHT RING WEAR AND CORNER WEAR. THE REAR IS VERY WHITE BUT FOR SOME LIGHT AGEING ON THE OPEN EDGE AND THERE IS AN ORIGINAL SHOP STICKER. GRADES VG +.
THE VINYL IS HOUSED IN ITS ORIGINAL EMITEX INNER SLEEVE AND THIS SHOWS LIGHT CREASING AND HAS AGED. GRADES VG+.
A GREAT CHANCE TO OWN AN EXCEPTIONALLY LOW STAMPER COPY. VERY RARE TO FIND A SINGLE STAMPER ON ONE OF THESE. MONOS WERE SOLD IN HUGE NUMBERS AND MOST COPIES YOU SEE COME WITH TRIPLE STAMPER CODES AND A HIGH MOTHER STAMP. THIS WAS DEFINITELY A FIRST DAY COPY AND WOULD BE GREAT FOR A COLLECTOR.
YOU CAN BE CONFIDENT WITH YOUR PURCHASE.I HAVE SENT VINYL ALL ROUND THE WORLD AND ALWAYS RECEIVE GREAT FEEDBACK!
Grading:
MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks no deterioration in sound, all paperwork should be in perfect condition
Excellent: The Record shows some signs of being played, there is very little lessening of sound quality. The packaging may have very slight signs of wear and /or creasing.
Very Good: The Record has been played a number of times, but there is no major deterioration in sound quality, despite slight surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Good; The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps some mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits and discoloration.
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise. It may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
I add a plus or minus when the item is somewhere between two grades
