A SUPERB 1ST PRESSING IN "MONO" - OFFERED IN OVERALL EXCELLENT CONDITION.

Sleeve:  VERY GOOD+ : "Garrod & Lofthouse" flipback sleeve.  Clean and with no writing or unwanted damage.  Good rigid spine with clear bold title.  Some light creasing to be found on all edges, noticably on top left and bottom right corners.  Minimal scuffing to corners, but with the smallest beginings of split at bottom right corner.  All seams are intact.

A truly very good example.

Inner Sleeve:  Emitex type lined sleeve, but no mention of Emitex.  Clean, but faded with age.  There is an 8cm split to one edge, and the name "Sue" written in pen on one side.

Record:  EXCELLENT :  The notably heavier vinyl is in beautiful condition with a good deep sheen to it.  Under very close examination I found two very light and small surface scuffs, but there are NO scratches of hairlines to be found.  Labels are good and clean, with light spindle wear.

Played and checked for sound quality, and it is superb.

I try to accurately describe the condition as per The Record Collector's Guide's parameters:

MINT:  The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.  Records advertised as Sealed or unplayed should be mint.

EXCELLENT:  The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.  The cover and packaging may have some slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:  The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.  Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD:  The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.
