THE BEATLES: HELP PMC 1255. KT TAX CODE. TESTED/SUPERB AUDIO. NEAR MINT VINYL. ORIGINAL TRACING PAPER LINED EMITEX INNER. PINCHED SPINE. MINIMUM EXCELLENT OVERALL GRADING.

PLAY TESTED.

Audio: Superb.

The audio is superb. Just some light surface noise/static on the intros/run-ins on either side. Barely any crackle/pop throughout, and beautifully quiet between most/if not all tracks.

Vinyl Appearance. Near Mint.

The vinyl looks superb/near mint. Other than the small scuff (see picture) on side 2, even under angled light there’s barely a mark/hairline elsewhere. Remarkably, it looks very lightly played indeed. It really is stunning in its appearance.

LABELS. Excellent.

Side 1.

Other than some light spindle marks, really only visible under angled light, the label is clean, bright, graffiti free, and has the KT embossed tax code.

Side 2.

As above (no tax code, obviously). Again excellent.

SLEEVE. Excellent. (Garrod & Lofthouse).

PINCHED SPINE. (Outline Mono, top right).

If not for the small cut/feathering (see picture) to the right of Ringo, and a little light feathering to the left of rear panel track listing, I’d describe the sleeve G&L flip-back sleeve, as again, near mint.

The front and rear panels are beautifully clean, bright, and completely graffiti free. Some very light/small crease marks to bottom/side front panel, and some light brown marks (not sure what) to bottom left of picture of George.

The pinched spine is as good a condition as I’ve ever seen on a Beatles sleeve, with barely any edgeware elsewhere, other than a small bump/scuff to bottom right corner of front panel.

EMITEX INNER (Tracing paper-lined). Excellent.

The original Emitex die-cut inner, has some creasing and a little yellowing with age. There are no splits/rips etc, and is in excellent condition.

PRESSING INFORMATION.

This is a second pressing, 1966 until 1969, Variant B. Black label with yellow logo and silver print.

Gramophone Co. Ltd perimeter print and Sold In U.K. text. KT tax code on the label.

It’s known as Variant B as the laqueur numbers (XEX.549 & 550) snuggle relative to the date on both sides.
