CENTRALLY EMBOSSED MT TAX CODE ERROR, SHOULD BE KT CODE (MT used from 1st January 1963 to 1st July 1963) (KT used from 1st July 1963 to 1972)

Sleeve: Excellent to Excellent+

The Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd Sleeve laminated front panel untreated back is in sound over all condition, it has just a few very light creases and some very light handling, storage wear at its extremities. The back panel is unmarked, generally clean with some slight age related colouring to opening edge. 

Inner Sleeve: Excellent-

MADE IN ENGLAND Use ‘EMITEX’ inner sleeve has age related colouration, with some light creasing. Sound condition without any splits.

Labels: Excellent

Clean unmarked labels, with two to three light spindle lines on each side.

Vinyl Visually: Very Good

Inspecting the vinyl surfaces under halogen spot-lamp, side one has some fine sleeve removal wispy lines only. Side two has a couple of very light lines, one short the other extends across four tracks, these are faint and hard to pick out in normal light levels. I expect sleeve removal related.  

Audio Quality: Very Good

Test play at loud volume, some light surface noise, not over powering the music. Both side play through without issue without major deterioration in sound quality.

Grading Records:

The photos within this advertisement are of the record offered for sale. I do not use stock images or previously used photographs.

This record has been checked visually both under normal daylight and under a strong under halogen spot-lamp. Every record I sell has been checked for its audio quality and played through completely on both sides. I check to ensure that they are flat on the rotating turntable.

I grade all records using The Record Collectors grading system, visually grading the vinyl surfaces, labels, inner sleeve and cover, adding a single (+Plus) if I believe the quality is slightly better or (- Minus) if slightly under.

The Record Collectors Grading System:

MINT: The Record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and extra items are in perfect condition. Records advertised sealed or un-played should be mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra Items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding scuffing of edges, of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.

Packing & Postage Costs:

I take great care in the dispatch of records and only use strong cruciform packaging. Every record is placed within a new poly-lined inner before its dispatch to you. The vinyl and sleeve are separated to decrease the likelihood of damage to sleeves. 

I can offer combine postage for two records for the same cost as sending one. I aim to dispatch the next working day from your payment.

International Airmail shipping to the USA, Canada, Japan & Russia is £12.20 GBP for International Signed for Delivery with tracking.

Airmail shipping to Europe is £9.70 GBP for Signed for Delivery with tracking.
