CONDITION OF VINYL (visual grading):

SIDE ONE: EXCELLENT(-)

SIDE TWO: EXCELLENT(-)

Both sides of this classic Beatles LP are in excellent(-) condition and fall short of a slightly higher grading.  The vinyl is glossy and appears virtually unmarked and unworn.  When held to the light some light hairline surface marks are visible, which are hardly noticeable and do not affect playback.  The yellow/black labels are in great condition, there are several light spindle marks and some very light scuffing to the embossed KT tax code.  The record plays well throughout, there is some very light background crackle in the run-in grooves and track separations - there is nothing that spoils the listening experience.

CONDITION OF SLEEVE: EXCELLENT

The front laminated, flipback "Patents pending" Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve with the "outline" mono on the front cover is in excellent condition.  The front cover shows some very light discolouration to the opening edge.  There is some light creasing near the edges.  The egdes and corners are in great shape and show very little wear.  The spine is intact and readable despite some extremely light creasing.  The unlaminated rear is in great condition and shows virtually no discolouration or ringwear.  The flipbacks are in great condition.

Comments:

This LP is essential for any Beatles fan or collector.  The majority of Beatles albums are not particularly rare due to the vast quantity sold, however the original LPs in such great condition are very hard to come by.  This 1st press mono LP with Patents Pending sleeve should please most collectors.

PACKAGING INFORMATION:

This record will be sent to you in a high quality cardboard record mailing envelope and it will be protected by two strong cardboard stiffeners in order to prevent unwanted bending during transportation. The record will be placed in a PVC outer sleeve and “sandwiched” between the cardboard stiffeners. The envelope will be sealed with strong brown tape.
