Description
The Beatles with their vinyl album Hey Jude. On the Apple label this is an original 1973 desirable UK export issue with correct labels and fully laminated sleeve. It has matrices:
YEEX 151-1
YEEX 150-1
The vinyl surface is glossy with only minimal hairlines, side 1 has one or two more and is in at least VG+ condition, side 2 is excellent. Both sides played through beautifully with no jumps, clicks or pops and both sides had an excellent sound quality with minimal crackle and a nice clear sound. Side 1 label has a name lightly written in pen but both labels are otherwise undamaged. Please see our photos.
The outer sleeve is in VG+ due to having no major damage. There are no tears, splits or heavy creasing. The laminate is fully intact although there are one or two small areas of it lifting(unbroken) as shown. Some minor creasing along the edges and minor softening of the opening edges. There are also light ringmarks from storage. The spine is undamaged and fully readable. Please see photos.
Overall a lovely copy of this final Beatles album.
I grade all of my records according to The Record Collector Magazines grading system.
I always test play my records on a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable with Ortofon cartridge stylus unless they are in near mint/ mint condition and appear unplayed but the description will state this. I don't sell records with deep scratches or marks that affect the sound quality and enjoyment.
All of our Vinyl is professionally cleaned using a Pro-Ject VC-S record cleaning machine.
The vinyl is then packaged in a protective anti static sleeve, the whole album placed into a protective outer plastic sleeve and then posted in a robust top of the range custom cardboard record mailer.
