Description
The Beatles rare label variant re-issue Stereo album.
This has no "Sold in the UK" label text, no tax codes on labels, apparently this variant only pressed between Summer 1969 and November 1969. Outline Stereo on sleeve. Has the Gramophone text on rim.
4th Press? - Stereo, this was the pressing just before the one box EMI logo.
Record no: PCS 3071. Titled: Help. Date: 1969. Tracks: See photos.
Matrix nos: YEX 168-1 - Stampers: 3 OW (hard to see the last stamper W or U or LL). YEX 169-1 - Stampers: 3 PL.
The outer laminated flipback sleeve is in excellent condition with some light wear as follows: shows some light ringwear to the edges (mainly front), there is a small scortch mark to the front (surface not through sleeve), the edges have some small laminate creases as does the front (mianly right side), the rear opening edge is a little dirty from use and and the rear is slightly dirty, overall still in nice condition with all flipbacks intact and has a good readable spine.
The vinyl is in excellent condition with some light signs of play, has just a few light surface marks, nothing much or serious and this still has a really good sheen, the Parlophone record labels are very clean and readable with the centres showing some spindle wear, comes in an Emitex polylined diecut inner which is fine but does have some creasing.
Overall a well looked after, nice and played occasionally example.
