Matrix : SO1 385 Z 12 #1 BELL SOUND sf - 0 is pressed at 9 o’clock / SO2-385 Z-18 #2 BELL SOUND sf - 0 is pressed at 9 o’clock
This US press on the early Apple Records label. This issue is pressed at the Jacksonville plant, identified by the 0 in the run-outs. It has Hey Jude printed on the spine and has Bell Sound in the runout. The Beatles Again is printed on the label. It has the SW 385 on the sleeve and SO 385 on the label.
The vinyl is in Very Good condition. Every side has a mirrored gloss, every track gleams. There are a few wispy marks but these are light, the vinyl still has the original jet black gloss. The original Apple labels are exceptionally bright and completely clean. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is only the very slightest spindle wear.
The sound quality is Very Good. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and from the moment it begins it is exceptionally rich and vibrant. There is noise in places but the sound is still rich and bold throughout.
The matt heavy card sleeve is in Very Good condition. It is exceptionally bright and the black is bold. The edges are firm although they are worn. The whole sleeve is solid and the pictures are sharp.
