Original Rare 1960's CBS RECORDS Solid Centre Contract Pressing of 'Hey Jude' c/w 'Revolution' - R 5722. Compared to regular EMI pressings this disc is different in a number of ways: It is thinner than normal, there is a tapered (Sharp rather than flat) edge to the record, The label has a rough texture the anti slip serrations around the label are not as pronounced, and there are no stamper letters in the run out area (only matrix numbers, and 'Mother' number. These were pressed by CBS because EMI couldn't keep up with demand.
A SIDE MATRIX: 7XCE 21185 - 1 / (and at 9 o'clock) 6 / (and at 3 o'clock) (NONE)
B SIDE MATRIX: 7XCE 21186 - 1 / (and at 9 o'clock) 1 / (and at 3 o'clock) (NONE)
'KT' Tax code does not appear.
Condition (Visually Graded): Vinyl = Would grade as 'good' condition, Showing a fair amount of surface marking. Labels are Very Good, though note, that the strange texture makes them appear slightly damaged. Overall a nice example of this very rare disc!
