Superb Beatles Undocumented solid centre 7" single of I want to hold your hand/This boy

This 7" single is a REAL Oriole  contract pressing of which only a handful have ever come to light and of which none have been catalogued.So rare that Popsike has only 1 or 2 listed on it's data base.

This single is the real thing as i will detail below

1.The solid centre has a rougher middle section than the outer

2.The weight of the record is 0.045 g compared to EMI'S 0.035g

3When you rub the edge of the record it is rough not smooth like EMI finished records

What makes this record even rarer is that it is a 1st pressing as shown by the matrix and tax code numbers detailed below

1.Matrix numbers are 7XCE 17559-1 and 7XCE 17550-1

2. Tax code is KT with a number 3 underneath at the 9 o'clock position

The condition of the record is detailed below with the most important thing first

THE LABEL

1.The label shows very minimal fading to the silver lettering all of which can easily be read with no missing letters

2.The spindle hole is in excellent condition no rips etc

3.A few light spindle marks can be seen but not to noticeable

4.No writing tears etc very small white dot mark to This Boy side

THE VINYL

1.Has obviously been played many times has numerous light scratches

2.Still retains a nice sheen dispite above

3.Has no deep scratches which would damage your stylus

4.I would grade it as good/very good

SOUND QUALITY

1.Plays really well on my Dansette with no background noise no loud clicks or sticks

2.Only crackle heard on run in and off grooves

3.Obviously if played on higher spec equipment you may hear something else

SLEEVE

1.Comes in it's original Parlophone sleeve which is in fair condition but who cares about the sleeve

This record is bound to increase in value in the future so has great investment potential

As i said earlier these Oriole contract pressings are very rare and not even documented so get your bids in you never know you may win
