Description
THE BEATLES IN ITALY (Very rare unique 1965 Italian compilation LP - Parlophon PMCQ 31506)
This is the rare second pressing on the black Parlophon label without the "Mecolico" credits on the label. This pressing was released shortly after the first red label pressing in 1965 and is housed in a gatefold sleeve.
Matrix numbers and pressing dates are XX 9009 1 13.07.1965 / XX 9010 1 13.07.1965
condition:
record: VG (There are a lot of superficial marks and hairlines on the record, but it plays beautifully with only minor surface noise mostly noticeable between the songs on side 2, no skips or jumps)
cover: VG- (There is some handling wear around the edges of this very fragile gatefold cover, some damage to the spine, 1 cm split at the top of the spine, some creasing and a few small tears)
The labels are in excellent condition with only minor spindle wear.
International bidders please ask for postage rates. Please have a look at my other Beatles auctions.
