While the original issue of this on MGM Records (SE-4215) was dishwater dull in it’s packaging, this reissue of the same material in 1969 was a dazzler with it’s Mersey Beat / Beatles Top Poll! Cover art.

Here’s the one package where you could get all those first 1961 – 1962 recordings they did in Germany with Tony Sheridan. Some rare stuff here, with some great descriptive notes within by Tony Sheridan and some great early pictures too.  This is a 1969 Polydor promo as you can see.
