Description

You are bidding on an original copy of The Beatles classic 1968 single - Lady Madonna, with The Inner Light on the b-side.

This is an absolutely stunning record. It is unlikely that you will find one in better condition any time soon. It is an original very early pressing. The stampers are 1 O on side 1, and 1 RH on side 2. Single letter stampers are extremely rare and show that this is one of the earliest copies pressed. The label has the KT tax code stamp and 'sold in UK..' text. It is a push out centre record.

Both sides of the record are visually a strict Exc+. There are very minimal spindle marks on the label. The vinyl retains its original glossy sheen and is totally unmarked. Both sides play M-, almost M. There is no surface noise, no distortion, no pops. It sounds as fresh as it did when sold in 1968.

Also included is the correct early 1968 Parlpohone sleeve. This is in great condition, with virtually no creases. There are no folds or tears. This sleeve is graded Exc.

This is an exceptional record and really is as good as they get. An exceptionally early pressing in outstanding condition.
